Hey. I'm Richard Abraham, the guy behind Pianoers.

I started this site in 2021 because I was fed up with the same recycled garbage everywhere else. Glossy reviews for junk keyboards, "learn piano in 30 days" courses that leave you frustrated and broke, blogs that read like Amazon press releases. I wanted a place that just told the truth, even when the truth hurts.

So that's exactly what Pianoers is. We buy the gear, we take the courses, we sit through every lesson, then we tell you what actually works and what sucks. No scripts, no fake smiles. If something is a scam, we call it. If a $200 keyboard outperforms a $2,000 console, we say that too.

The team is small but legit:

Richard Abraham – Founder and chief reviewer. Been obsessed with keys since I was 8, still gig on weekends, own too many pianos, and hate bad advice more than anything.
Katarina – Lead teacher and adult-learner specialist. She has been teaching piano since 2001, holds a B.A. in Music from the University of Missouri, and has been a member of the National Association of Music Teachers since 1995. She knows exactly what busy adults need to get back into piano without wasting years on boring drills.
